Foundation evens out skin tone and gives a polished base for the rest of your makeup. In Bangladesh's heat, the right foundation stays put without melting or caking. The two decisions that matter most: the correct shade and the right finish for your skin type.
By finish
- Matte: oil-free, controls shine — best for oily skin and hot weather. Set with setting spray for all-day wear.
- Dewy / radiant: adds a glow — best for dry or mature skin. Can look too shiny on oily skin in humidity.
- Satin / natural: a balanced middle ground that works for most skin types and looks skin-like.
Coverage levels
Sheer coverage lets skin show through and feels lightest — good for everyday wear. Medium coverage hides redness and uneven tone. Full coverage conceals acne scars and hyperpigmentation but needs careful blending to look natural. Start lighter and build up.
